Koreana Hun was born on July 3, 1985 in New Orleans, Louisiana to a Korean mother, Yi Hun and an African-American father Eric White, a former U.S. army private. She grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia where she gained the experiences that propelled her to be an actress. After completing film studies at Howard University, in Washington D.C.
