水尻自子，Born in Aomori, Japan in 1984, she creates animations that bring body parts and everyday objects to life. In addition to short films, she also makes music videos, commercials and films for art installations. Her work has featured in festivals around the world. Snow Hut and Veil screened in Berlinale Shorts in 2014 and 2015 respectively while Anxious Body was selected for the 2021 Directors’ Fortnight at Cannes and won a total of 15 international awards.
