Dan Block was born in Burlington, Vermont on July 21, 1985. He lived in Colchester, Vermont for about 2 years and moved south to Ferrisburgh, Vermont. There, his younger sister, Soshannah Block was born when he was three. At six, his parents divorced and he moved with his mother and sister to South Burlington, Vermont.
