Fern Foster was the first wife of silent cowboy star Harry Carey, whom she co-starred with in his play "Two Women and that Man" on Broadway. The play, which opened at the Majestic Theatre on October 18, 1909, was a flop, lasting only 16 performances. Fern followed Harry into motion pictures, making her film debut in His Day (1912).
