E.D. Horkheimer，Brother of H.M. Horkheimer, the founder of Balboa Amusement Producing Company, an early film production company based in Long Beach, California. E.D. was the company's Secretary and Treasurer. The brothers started in a small factory building in 1911 and before ceasing operation in 1918 had expanded to four city blocks.
