John Hundley appeared on musical stages beginning in the 1920s. "Polly" (1928), "Heads Up" (1929) and "Spring is Here" (1929) were some of the musicals in which he performed. In 1932 he was signed by producer Courtney Burr for a Vernon Duke-E.Y. Harburg musical, "Walk a Little Faster," starring Beatrice Lillie, Clark & McCullough and Evelyn Hoey.
