格斯·夏伊，Gus Shy clowned on Broadway before making a hit on stage in "Good News" in 1927 and "The New Moon" in 1928. He appeared in the first film versions of both these shows, but in the film "New Moon" he played an entirely different character from the one he had played in the stage version.
