Scott Thunes，Born in Los Angeles but moved to Northern California in the late 60s. Started playing the bass when he was eight. Joined Frank Zappa's band in 1981 and played with him until the ill-fated 1988 band. Continued to play with Frank's sons, Dweezil and Ahmet, until 1993.
