Cynthia Strother was the oldest of the Bell Sisters (the act used their mother`s maiden name), a singing group in the early 1950s. Cynthia and her sister, Kay, had several radio and jukebox hits for RCA, their most popular being "Bermuda" (which Cynthia wrote) and which reached #7 on the Billboard charts in early 1952.
