Tom Finegan，Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1926. Finegan as he was known to all worked as a waterfront cop and later ran for chairmanship of the Long Island Railroad losing by the narrowest of margins. He was an impulsive man, he asked his wife Alice to marry him on their first date and she agreed.
