John Weathers，Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana to John A Weathers Sr. (a Longshoreman) and Faye Ann Mullen (a housewife) in 1958. Attended St Agnes Parochial School, St John Prep, and East Jefferson HS. Spent 4 years in the U.S. Army (1975-1979). Moved to Austin, Texas area in 1993. Lives in Bastrop, Texas, a small town southeast of Austin.
