William Carl，William graduated from The Lawrenceville School and spent a post-graduate year at The Cranleigh School in Cranleigh, England. He was a 1988 graduate of Vassar College, where he majored in drama and film. Since his junior high school years, William starred or acted in a variety of productions at the schools he attended.
