Michelle McDonald grew up in Hobart, Indiana. She was a high school and college cheerleader, performing with the Purdue Boilermakers "Boiler Babes" dance squad. At Purdue, she was voted Homecoming Queen. She is an alumnus of Alphi Phi Omega sorority.
