Mike Allsup，Guitarist Michael Rand Allsup was born on March 8, 1947 in Modesto, California. His parents were originally from Oklahoma, but moved to the small town of Empire, California. Allsup became interested in the guitar as a teenager and started playing in a dance band with some friends in high school.
