John Lauri，John P. Lauri is a Michigan native who was raised in Grosse Pointe Woods by his parents Paul J. and Carol A. Lauri. He graduated in 1978 from University-Liggett school. After owning and operating a retail store in Birmingham Michigan for 16 years he embarked on a career in the motion picture industry and formed J. Lauri Filmworks.
