Curtis Raymond Shideler was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He grew up in a suburb, and eventually attended GVSU. There, he acted on the stage often. Eventually, he moved down to Dallas, Texas to continue acting and attended CFNI, while doing improv shows in Dallas.
