Steve Mewha was raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He moved to Philadelphia after attending Temple University in North Philadelphia. There, he met Joe Gdowik, Tom Pescatore, Vitaly Taratut and the other member of Belltower Society Productions. He helped Joe Gariffo and ShaunPaul Costello with numerous films shot in Philadelphia.
