Kealohu Holt，(Alice) Kealoha Pau'ole Holt was born on the Garden Island of Kaua'i on February 10, 1919. She was born into a life of modest means with a lineage directly tied to the royal families of Hawaii. Kealoha developed into one of the most celebrated hula dancers in the world and was crowned Miss Hawaii Aloha in 1939.
