Nicolae Opritescu，Nicolae (Nicky) Opritescu, was born on April 30, 1947 in Bucharest. His father was a Medical Doctor. He finished the Film Director`s Section of the famous Institutul de Arta Teatrala si Cinematografica "Ion Luca Caragiale" (IATC), today`s "National University of Theater and Film" Bucharest in 1969.
