Robert James Roessel，During his undergraduate work at the Univ of Minnesota, Roessel was a directing intern under Liviu Ciulei at the Tyrone Guthrie Theatre. Throughout his graduate work in England, he studied under Trevor Nunn at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
