Martha Solorzano was born in Managua, Nicaragua. Her mother is a writer and painter, and her father, now retired was a Chemist/Pharmacist. At the early age of eight, Martha's parents sent her to boarding school in Vienna, Austria saving her from ongoing turmoil in her home country.
