Sal Valentino，The Beau Brummels, formed in 1964 in San Francisco, CA, are said by some to be the first folk-rock band. Known mostly for their hits "Just a Little", "Laugh, Laugh" and "You Tell Me Why", they were America's first response to the British Invasion, and were often mistaken for an English band because of their sound.
