Ruben Amavizca，An actor, director and playwright, Rubén Amavizca-Murúa was born in the border town of Mexicali, Mexico. He has worked mainly on the stage in Mexico and the USA. He's the Artistic Director, since 1993, of Grupo de Teatro Sinergia and the Frida Kahlo Theatre in Los Angeles. He has written over a dozen plays.
