Egypt is a former member of the City Kids Repertoire Company, in New York City, where Lauryn Hill, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Malik Yoba, and Lisa Nicole Carson also began. With a strong foundation in acting, Egypt also studied at the historical Freedom Theater and The Tisch School of Arts at New York University.
