Vasos Argyris，Greek actor and tenor, born and raised in Alexandria, Egypt. Studied music and opera in Italy. In the 1940's he was a leading tenor of the Staatsoper Berlin, Vienna and other principal European Musical Centers. He was a former leading dramatic tenor of the New York City Opera and also sang at Carnegie Hall.
