David Ritchie，Veteran stage actor and director started his career in Australian television in 1986 with parts in Off The Dish and Sons & Daughters. He was educated at the University of Natal where he received a BA in Literature (1967) and later an MA from the University of Leeds in Drama and FIne Arts in 1972.
