Caitlin Utting was born and raised in Lodi, CA. She graduated from Lodi High school and received her BA in Psychology from San Francisco State University. Her parents, Teresa Hernandez and Richard Utting, both worked in the medical field, but Caitlin felt born into the arts. She has one older brother, Ashby Utting who is a graphic novelist.
