John E，Sab John aka John E was born in Allepey, in the southern Indian state of Kerala to Simon Antony and Marykutty. Though graduated in commerce, his accounting career did not last long. Very early in his career he discovered his interest in screen writing and authored the script for the notable Malayalam film, Chanakyan, a Kamal Hassan starrer.
