Satheesh Menon was born to late Capt. T Balachandran and Choppulil Kumudam on 10 March 1950 at Irinjalakuda in Thrissur District of Kerala. He did his High Schooling at Govt. Model Boy's High School, Irinjalakuda and then took his degree from Christ College, Irinjalakuda.
