Jean Lizza was born in Perth, Western Australia but resides in Melbourne. Growing up, Jean attended drama classes and played a range of musical instruments. She went to Edith Cowan University studying film and creative writing. While in Perth, Jean also worked at Luna Cinema and booked all ages gigs at a youth skate park.
