John Zhao is a self-taught filmmaker and artist born in China where his grandfather, a skilled calligrapher, precociously sparked an everlasting love for poetry in him. raised internationally, he was drawn to cinema, skateboarding and scuba diving to adapt to the constantly changing languages and landscapes. He is the co-founder of Opening Titles.
