Jean Paul Turgeon was born on December 29, 1961 in Notre Dame Des Bois, Quebec, To Aristide Turgeon a construction worker and Alain Turgeon a home maker. He is the third to the youngest of 13 kids. At age 3 the family move to Massachusetts, where his father worked in construction. He graduated from Holyoke High School in 1981.
