Shawna Welsh was born in Richmond, BC, Canada, as the eldest of 2 children of a RCMP father John Welsh (from Ottawa, On.) and Chief Investigator mother Sherry (from Vancouver, BC). Shawna has a brother named Thomas. Due to her fathers occupation, the family moved around constantly, her family finally settled in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
