Chandu Yarram was born in Chirala, Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. He started his career as a software engineer in Hyderabad, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh. He migrated to the USA to pursue better opportunities. As a movie buff, who watches both American and Indian films regularly, he made three short films before he jumped into features.
