Sampda Sharma started her career in the entertainment industry as a female MC. She later went on to form her solo career as a Hip Hop / R&B artist under the name Samsaya and released her CD "Shedding Skin". Her acting career started with a smaller role in the film Folk flest bor i Kina (2002).
