Rod Manikam born in Penang, Malaysia. Graduating as a graphic designer in 1990 and then graduating as a chef shortly after. Rod comes from a family of musicians and teachers, his father Edward is a now retired renowned musician and teacher in Malaysia, his mother Marina Mangram is also a retired teacher.
