Katie Cooke was born in the small town of Creston, BC. She was raised on a farm and educated in a private school. Katie is the second child and oldest daughter of her mother's 12 children. Katie has always been drawn to the arts. At 5 years old she began violin lessons of which she studied for 9 years.
