Sanghmitra Hitaishi, was born in Allahbad, India but grew up in Lucknow, India. She went to the Fine Arts institution, Kalakshetra Foundation for her schooling and is trained Bharatnatyam dancer and has learnt different forms of Latin Ballroom dancing. She also has Masters degree in English literature.
