Soran Mardookhi is a Kurdish filmmaker based in Vancouver, Canada. He earned his BFA in Film Directing in January 2006 and has since produced numerous short films and two features. His directorial debut, And Thus I Was Born (2007), was screened at various film festivals around the globe.
