Hessel Evelaar，Hessel Jacob Evelaar was born in The Netherlands to Henk Evelaar, a logistics manager and Jacqueline Evelaar, a Dutch journalist. He started acting in regional theatre at a very young age, and made it television debut in 2006 in the children's television show Willem Wever.
