Athan Hilaki is best known as the frontman and the founder of the New York-based rock band Trapped In Static as well as one of the first members of the Greek indie pop band GAD. Hilaki, was born in Athens, Greece and moved to New York in January 2008. He started playing the keyboards at the age of 14 and guitar at the age of 16.
