Georin Aquila was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the oldest of five children of Harry Oliver, a retired Firefighter and current Minister, and Sylvia (Matthews) a mental health employee. He grew up in a middle class area on the East side of Pittsburgh. Georin attended the Holy Rosary Catholic Middle School in the Homewood section of Pittsburgh.
