Dan Haug was born as Daniel Lewis Haug in Mount Forest, ON, Canada to Calvin and Stella Haug. Dan made his acting debut in Sorry! Wrong Chimney! with the Church Basement Players. On opening night Dan was sought out by Caroline Smith which encouraged him to audition for what became his second production, Maggies Getting Married.
