Robert Keith Kelly was born and raised in West Virginia but now resides in Athens Georgia. Keith is of Irish and Italian ancestry - his father Robert was a factory worker, his mother Dorothy a beautician - and he was the first in his family to attend college. He studied screen-writing at UCLA and received degrees from W.Va. University, W.Va.
