Gurin Bal (formerly known as Guru Bal) was born in India and moved to Canada at the age of 5. He grew up in Vancouver, Canada. He graduated from Princess Margaret Secondary School, and pursued Accounting at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. He graduated from Vancouver Acting School with his diploma in Acting and Screenwriting.
