Joycie Renee Brantley，Joycie B grew up in Harvey, IL an urban area where there weren't many opportunities. She never wanted to become a product of her environment. As far as she can remember at a young age she was always an entertainer. She landed her first acting gig in the musical called The Wiz where she played ensemble.
