Alex Kersting was raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, and graduated high school in Henderson, Nevada, (Coronado High School). Alex's younger brother, Ben, was diagnosed with Asperger's Disorder at age four, so Alex has been passionate about helping those with disabilities. Alex is the older cousin of Zari Kersting.
