Ryan Shovey grew up in Ocala, FL as a musician. After making videos for his band and friends, he found his love for filmmaking and decided to make the move to Orlando, FL to pursue film school. Not having a lot of money, he decided to attend Valencia Community College's Film Program under the teachings of Ralph Clemente.
