Marcial Rios Salcido is an award winning filmmaker winning Best Director at Cine Sin Fin 2007 for Maquillaje and Best Stage Play for Los Fieles. In 2013, he also won Best Short Screenplay at the Long Beach QueerFest and was nominated for Best Short at the Oaxaca Film Festival for the short film, Claudio, Maura, y Yo.
