James L. Thompson Jr.，James L. Thompson, Jr. was born in Dothan, Alabama. He graduated from Troy University with a B.S. and M.S. in English Education. He taught high school for four years and then joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation in 1984 as a Special Agent.
